How can I freeze my membership due to illness, injury (or temporary relocation)?

If you need to pause your membership due to illness, injury, or temporary relocation, Clubsportive allows freezes for up to six months per year.


Here’s how to request a freeze (idle period):

  1. Open the Clubsportive app and navigate to Self-service > Idle Period.
  2. Upload documentation based on your situation:
    • Medical Reasons: Provide a doctor’s note, physiotherapy note, or specialist appointment confirmation.
    • Temporary Relocation*: Upload a study/work agreement, rental agreement, or return ticket.
  3. Ensure your document includes your personal data, which must match your membership details.


Please note: If you are out of contract and want to freeze your membership for more than one month, please submit a ticket via our contact page right away and include all relevant documents (do not use the app).


Once submitted, your request will be reviewed. You’ll receive confirmation if it’s approved or guidance if further documentation is needed.


* Please check our General Terms and Conditions to see if freezing due to temporary relocation is possible for your membership.
