Why are dates displayed in the wrong format in my app?
| The date format shown in the app is based on your phone's language settings. For example: English (US) uses MM/DD/YYYY English (UK) uses DD/MM/YYYY If you'd like dates to display in the DD/MM/YYYY format, you'll need to change your device language to English (UK) or another language that uses the same format. You can do this by following the steps below: For iPhone (iOS): - Open your phone Settings. - Navigate to General and then Language & Region. - Tap Add Language. - Select English (UK) and set it as your preferred language. - Close and reopen your app. For Android: - Open your phone Settings. - Navigate to General Management and then Language. - Tap Add Language and select English (United Kingdom). - Move it to the top of the list to make it your primary language. - Close and reopen your app. Once you've updated your language settings, the app will automatically display dates in the corresponding format. |
